Does it cost anything to post a job?
No, it's completely free for jobposters to post jobs and receive quotes . GoodHousekeeper only charges service providers a small fee for leads.
How do I post a job?
Just visit Post a Job and fill out the Job Description form. A clear job description is important in order to attract the most suitable providers. Please don't put any contact details as anyone using the site can view this section.
What happens after I’ve posted a job?
All providers are allowed to view your job description at no cost. Matching providers will automatically get an email asking them to look at your job. You can also search our directory for service providers and invite them to quote on your job. Your contact details are kept hidden until a provider has confirmed a genuine interest in your job by paying a small fee. If you don't want any more quotes from interested providers you can remove your job listing by simply logging in to your account. Your job listing will be active for one month, after which it is closed automatically.
How can I remove a job I have posted on the site?
Log into your account and click on the job you want to remove. You will then be given an option to remove it.
You don’t cover the service I am interested in. What do I do?
If you find that we are not covering a service that you are interested in please do send us an email (click CONTACT US) and describe what you are looking for.
Can I request a quote from a specific service provider?
You can invite service providers from our directory to your job by using the Invite to Job feature, which can be found on every service provider’s profile. We will send the service provider an email and if they are interested they should then get in touch with you. We charge the service providers a small fee should they decide to get details about your job.
Am I obliged to choose any of the service providers that contact me via the site?
No, you are not. If you don’t want to be contacted about a job you have listed, you simply remove it from the site. Please note that the service providers, who have expressed interest in your job, have paid a small fee, so out of courtesy you should decline their interest politely.
How do I rate a service provider that I have found through the site?
Once you have hired a service provider, you will then be able to post feedback by clicking the Leave Feedback button on their profile. Feedback should only be left after the job is finished.
Is my personal information safe?
Yes, it is safe. Your personal information will never be published on the site and it will never be passed on to third parties without your consent.
