Our Clients who live on a large Estate in Leicestershire are looking for a live-in Cook / Housekeeper who will use their skills to provide nutritious and healthy meals for the family - especially when the four teenage children are home for school exeats and holidays. You may also be required to cook for smaller dinner parties and of course when the children go back to school, casual suppers for the Principals.

You must be teenage children and dog friendly - preferably with experience of living in the countryside as although not remote (the property is close to the local village), it is very much a horse, dog, family estate with a full-time Maintenance man and Chauffeur already employed. The family also have a team of cleaners before and after the weekend to do the deep clean and tidying so although you will be hands-on housekeeping, it will mainly be the kitchen areas, laundry and ironing that will need attention. Other duties will include managing the property, using your initiative as to when something is broken to fix it or ask the Maintenance man to do so - running errands, shopping and cooking.

This is a super job for an experienced Cook / Housekeeper who enjoys the countryside and working for a busy, friendly family. You will have to be flexible as to the days you work as when the children are home at weekends, you will be required to work but there will be calmer and quieter times during term when you can take extra days off.

Accommodation: your own 2 bedroom flat with kitchen and sitting room

If you have a small, well behaved dog you wish to bring, that may be possible

Salary: £28K - £30K
