Our Client - a family of 6 (although only one child of 10 years old is at home all the time with parents) who live in London SW3 are looking for a highly experienced, proactive and personable live in Housekeeper / Cook. Their residence - a 6 bedroom house - has spacious accommodation in the basement with separate entrance so you definitely have your own privacy. The family have another Housekeeper who covers for the days you are off but ideally you will work from Tuesday - Saturday.

Your duties will include the management and cleaning, laundry and ironing for the household. It is important that you have held a similar role and are willing to initiate new systems and suggest ideas on how improvements can be made to ensure the smooth running and clean environment of the home. The family have a Labrador so you must feel comfortable with a dog however you are not required to walk or bathe it.

You must be a good cook and enjoy producing family meals - preferences are Mediterranean, Ottolenghi, nice salads and fish. On a usual week day you will prepare supper for the Principals and their daughter and then you can relax for the evening as you are not expected to serve.

The family have a holiday home in Europe and you will be required to travel with them for 6 weeks during the summer however in return you can take your holiday at any other time of the year with their prior approval.

This position is ready to be filled now - although the family will wait for the right candidate.

Salary - circa £500 - £550 net per week.
