Job Description

We are looking for someone with experience of working within a private house or hotel and be able to deliver high standards of cleanliness on a daily basis, cleaning will be a big part of the roll. They must be willing and able to take instruction and be accurate, punctual, and attentive, as well as having good initiative. The ability to be discreet, respectful, and able to keep appropriate boundaries is also necessary. The roll requires someone who can drive; although the property is not remote it is not accessible via public transport. Also require a non-smoker, animal and baby friendly and someone who can offer excellent references.

Duties would include:
• The general day to day running of the household
• Watering and tending plants
• Excellent laundry and ironing skills
• Occasional cooking - good quality healthy family food
• Occasional babysitting (in the near future)
• Dealing with all the requirements of occasional overnight guests
• Collecting rubbish for collection
• Making sure the house is kept tidy, children’s' toys always away
• Occasional shopping for food, cleaning supplies will be required
• Running errands
• Reporting any maintenance issues and making appropriate arrangements
• General organising of the home ensuring everything is in its right place.
• Walking two small dogs.

This is an immediate requirement - hours can be flexible but a start of circa 7:00 am would be preferable. Monday to Friday, 3-4 hours daily.
