Responsibilities: Customer service: Always trying to exceed customer expectations; Striving to improve performance; Ensuring the team is always polite to the visitors; Standards: Ensuring high level of cleanliness in the kitchen/fridge areas; Meeting product, hygiene and safe standards; Reporting problems related to the upkeep of the property; Ensuring all stock is stored correctly and all stock levels are kept to a satisfactory level; Ensuring daily and weekly audits as well as the FSA daily diary are completed; Service Ensuring availability of all dishes and recipes; Ensuring amendments to the menu are communicated properly to the FOH team; Indicating training for new/existing chefs; People Insuring proper induction for all new starters; Assisting the Head Chef with staff training; Ensuring compliance with the employment law legislation; Ensuring a fair, caring approach to the team and their health and safety all times; Profit Assisting the Head Chef in exceeding budgetary targets; Demonstrating efficient menu planning to achieve profit; Communication Ensuring information, ideas and suggestions are passed from the team to the Manager and vice versa; Facilitating open discussions, feedback and suggestions; Ensuring the Management team are informed about any incidents with customers and staff performance issues /good&bad/ Compliance Supporting the Manager and showing loyalty; Ensuring compliance with: Licensing Act 2003 Health and Safety Act 1974 Employment Law legislation Fire safety order Weights and Safety Act Trade descriptions Pay £25,000 - £26,000 per annum Benefits: / to be confirmed/ |
