| Job Description | We are a small busy family seeking an experienced live-in mother-help/housekeeper for a January start. Who we are looking for? A trustworthy, reliable, organised, patient, fun and kind individual to help look after our home. We have a girl (10) who is pretty much independent and a boy (7) who still needs motivating and some help to get tasks done. What is the Job? The hours are 33 hours a week, plus 1 or 2 nights of babysitting during the week or weekend to be agreed weekly. If extra help is agreed for weekend days, in-lieu time off or extra money given. The role is 75% housekeeping and 25% childcare with an emphasis on housekeeping during school hours. More childcare activities may be needed during the school holidays (all within hours agreed). Assisting with morning routine, school pick-ups/drop offs & taking /collecting from after school activities/play dates (driving license is a plus), cleaning, laundry, bedding change, keeping the house in order, meal preparation & cooking (simple recipes), cleaning after meals, and helping with children when needed. What are we offering? Salary: £200-£220 per week depending on experience, your own room, meals with the family, Wi-Fi, and a bathroom shared mainly with adults. House has 3 shower/bathrooms. You will have access to TV with Apple TV. A small TV for your room can be arranged. You must be: Eligible to work in the UK A non-smoker Can commit for a year + You need to be organized, a good time manager flexible and willing to learn and to take initiative. You will have good communication skills, a cheerful attitude, calm personality, ability to balance friendship and discipline with kids.
