| Job Description | Marlborough Nannies are delighted to advertise this full time Live in / live out senior housekeeper position for a family in Newbury, Berkshire. This lovely young family need the help of an excellent, flexible and switched on housekeeper to work as part of a friendly team reporting to a House Manger in their stunning newly renovated country property. They are looking for very experienced hands on housekeeper who is used to working in a semi formal household and looking after fine linen / antiques and furnishings. The principals use the house for weekends and holidays. They entertain on a regular basis and the house will be busier during the shooting season. You will be required to greet guests and be able to serve at the table to the standards of a butler. Duties to include cleaning, supervising daily housekeeping staff, laundry, some family cooking, ordering food and keeping daily supplies topped up. A nanny is employed but you must be child and dog friendly A driver is essential, you will need to have your own car but a car is provided for work purposes. Days are 5 days a week (to include weekends) Accommodation if live in is a beautiful 2 bedroom cottage. Pets considered Salary is dependent on experience. |
