| Job Description | We are looking for an experienced Housekeeper/Cleaner to look after a family home in the centre of Edinburgh starting in July 2017. You will be required to work 4 days a week, with hours to be discussed, and will be offered a competitive salary. It is important you have experience in housekeeping/cleaning and clean to a high standard with great attention to detail. Housekeeper Job Duties will include: • Dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures • Sanitising toilets, showers/baths and sinks • Maintaining a clean kitchen area • Making beds and changing linens • Washing windows • Vacuuming and cleaning carpets and rugs • Vacuuming, polishing, and mopping hard floors • Sorting, washing, loading, and unloading laundry • Ironing clothing items • Keeping bathrooms stocked with clean linens, toiletries, etc. • Cleaning mirrors and glass surfaces • Emptying bins • Tidying up rooms • Monitoring cleaning supplies and buying more as required • Reporting any necessary repairs or replacements • Shopping as required • Taking laundry to and from dry cleaners • Occasional dog walking • Running general errands.
