| Job Description | Housekeeper (part time duties with free accommodation) Responsible for :- House • Regular and deep cleaning of house to maintain in full readiness for owner and friends and family at all times • All laundry, washing plus ironing • Liaising to arrange access for regular visits of; security company; and other service providers (mostly automatically scheduled) • Ensuring all appliances and systems are in good working order at all times • Checking and replacing where necessary all light bulbs, including cupboards. • Buying and maintaining all household cleaning and laundry materials, rubbish organization and bag supplies; putting our rubbish in compliance with West Oxfordshire Council requirements Garden/Garage • Maintenance of garden furniture and winter storage and cleaning • Maintenance of raised vegetable garden boxes (5) • Keeping garage in good order include proper storage of bikes and garden furniture • Cleaning and maintenance of outdoor grill and ensuring gas canisters have adequate gas, and cleaning of grill area Role is part time • 1.5 days per week • Employee is responsible for all utility payments for cottage, and their own national insurance contributions and tax affairs The owner is single, in part time residence, with friends and family having occasional access to the house. Role comes in exchange for fully furnished cottage Role open to couple as well as individual, with same total hours.
