Salary: £13.00 Gross per hour

A friendly family are looking for some practical Home Help to assist them with the running of their home. The role will be a combination of housekeeping and cleaning tasks, and occasional assisting the family with errands.

The role is in a 3 bed house and will include completion of household tasks such as:

• Cleaning; this is expected to be the main requirement and will include at times deep cleaning such as cleaning the inside windows, cupboards and shelves.
• Devising ways to improve the organisation and storage of items such as laundry or toys.
• Tidying, reordering and storing away children’s toys.
• Ironing when required and other laundry duties such as putting clothes away, making beds.
• Food shopping and running errands - therefore a driving license is preferable.
• Some childcare duties may be required such as doing the school run or general supervision.

The candidate will need to be enthusiastic and able to show initiative regarding what needs doing. This role would suit a calm and patient person because this is a busy and at times chaotic household. It is essential to be comfortable interacting with young children. Flexibility is also essential as duties will change depending on the household priorities each week.

Flexibility can be discussed with regards to working hours and days. Your own Public Liability Insurance will be essential.
