-Family Housekeeper/ Mothers help/ All-Rounder –
Full-time- Long-term- Live In position

A thoughtful, cheerful and forward thinking family with an outdoor ethos seek experienced house keeper/ All-rounder from Nov 2017 could wait until January for the right person.

[Gloucestershire, Small Family home within 3acres, tennis court and country based]

Family statement- [Mum works in family business from Home, 3 year old boy- 2year old daughter in Nursery/Pre-school/activities/clubs- baby due in January, father works away during the week.

Mum is a happy, positive and hands on. Her priority at all times is her children's/family happiness and business efficiency. Both children are loving and full of beans and mum promotes a positive behaviour throughout with respect and manners at all times. Both children attend nursery everyday and eldest son attends pre-school in Monmouth 3days per week. Baby due in January will follow the same trend.
Ideal candidate will have a good sense of humour, love children. You must be honest and with a warm open personality and heart. Extremely flexible with the day to day routines, chores and responsibilities as they will be mainly housekeeping and running the home to ensure mum can proceed with her business, however will need to be open and comfortable to helping mum with children bedtime routines and be willing to become part of the family is essential!

Housekeeping duties – To include all normal housekeeping duties throughout a home, house care/presentation. [washing laundry, drying/ironing/ putting away for the family, changing beds and general daily tidying and cleaning house in and out throughout the day. Working Mum is hands on, will help if and when needed and realistic about what can be achieved in time frames. You must show excellent eye for detail and complete tasks efficiently and to a high standard. You will be happy, reliable and positive in everything you do, hard work and excellence will never go unmissed and will be rewarded always!

Cooking/duties

Family- Your job-role will be interesting and varied so a flexible person with excellent time management, forward thinking and relaxed caring nature will fit perfectly.
You will be expected to prepare/ cook all family meals/ make lunches & picnics for outings if needed so must be able to follow / source recipes and be a confident cook.
Erin runs, shopping and general everyday help for family and mums business based on the property (Early Years focused)
Stock keeping and ordering products for the family
Must be computer friendly to help with simple admin tasks and make some orders on-line for delivery
You will help pack items for trips/outings/school runs etc and accompany family if and when needed
Family may request your presence on holidays, outings or emergency babysitting if needed. [grandparents are hands on and love babysitting time]
You must be an outdoor person and help assist with simple weeding, potting, hanging baskets or light gardening on request. [gardener and maintenance are employed regularly]

Small Family Business- [Private Nursery on property with 6x staff]
You are being employed to work for mum and the family Housekeeping, however some simple nursery chores will be within your job-role as cleaning and daily running of nursery are all Nursery staff responsibility, mum is vigilant and will ensure Nursery Manager is aware children and family will always come first over assisting the business.
You will be expected to prepare/serve/ cook lunches daily (15-20 toddler simple bulk meals cooked [cottage pie &veg etc..] Nursery meals can be pre-maid and frozen ready to heat and serve on the day. Family evening meals can be made and prepared sometimes at the same time as nursery lunches however the potential new candidate will have the ability to manage their day and tidy kitchen for the Nursery staff to continue their day/jobs. You must be able to work alongside others with ease, be presentable and happy to help at all time. [All Nursery staff are the same, no tolerance for anyone who is not a team player]
Nursery Laundry [simple cot sheets and blankets/odd linen, very minimal]
Help with cleaning/ toy tidying when needed to help assist mums business and occasional cover for staff maybe requested. [so must be child friendly and be able to muck in at all times]

Days and Hours- (between 40hrs-50hrs per week)
Mon-Thurs between 7:30am-9:00pm. Friday-9:30am-14:00 Sunday 16:00-20:00 [Lunch + tea break/ snacks during the day when appropriate timings]

Childcare duties include helping to play/breakfast and dress/ready children in the morning. Help to organise/prepare and divide the day as mum works from home, children attend Nursery/ Pre-school all week and have time out for activities [gymnastics/Ballet/soft play, swimming]. Evenings help may involve assisting mum to bath get bedtime prepared and sit, play or sooth children if mum is struggling with bedtime,etc. Generally sitting/ or watching maybe asked for help in emergency's.
Extra's
Family outings/event/holidays will be accompanying family when requested [Can include abroad so passport needed] Babysitting with monitor [hours either paid or refunded hours]

Job Type: Full-time
nanny/ housekeeper/ All-rounder: 2 .5 years minimum
A role-model to the children in which the family feel appropriate
Happy to be flexible and helpful to mum at all times with Housekeeping duties, cleaning, childcare and working within family business.
No pets to care for however must be animal friendly as Grandparents have animals and family have an old horse and pony on the 3acres.
Non smoker/vapour
Impeccable references from previous families.
Happy , proactive , energetic and organised person.
Driving license, family car used to transport children and can be used on request

Suggested pay scale £650-£850.pm NET with bills, meals and accommodation paid for.
