A live-out housekeeper is sought for a couple’s residence in Bridgnorth, Shropshire. This is a large property with 7 bedrooms. Main duties will be cleaning, tidying, laundry, ironing, changing of beds and wardrobe management. Our period house has both modern and antique furniture, with a mixture of flagstone, wood and carpeted floors. This is a friendly and informal household with teenaged children resident at weekends but we are looking for a housekeeper who has high standards and a good work ethic. The working hours are around 15 hours per week, worked over Monday and Friday but with flexibility to spread the time over three days if required. A driver with their own car is also essential due to the rural location. The salary is £10-£12 per hour net depending on the experience of the candidate. |
