Manager/ Head Housekeeper- Country House, Suffolk

Salary is Dependent on experience

We are looking to recruit a Head Housekeeper for a stunning country house in Suffolk. The house is the primary residence for a family, and we are looking for somebody with a 5* hotel background, who is looking to take the next step in to an exciting, new, hands on management role.

You will be responsible for the housekeeping team and will consistently deliver a flawless, pristine service. You must have a passion for providing the highest level of service and take pride in your work. The ideal candidate will need to be a natural born leader, with a flexible, hands-on approach to all tasks and lead by example. Great organisation and communication skills are essential. The ideal Head Housekeeper will need to have experience working in a managerial role in a 5 Star Boutique Hotel.

As Head Housekeeper you will:

• Be responsible for the development and maintenance of all standards making sure every team player will work smartly and effectively.

• Need to be able to understand and communicate in English with the team in all departments.

• Be a well organised person, able to organise each department and make sure the team is working efficiently at all times.

• Coordinate and Manage the laundry services

• Be responsible for ordering and stocks, following the household budgets

• Assigns schedules and duties to staff

• Schedules preventative maintenance of laundry & housekeeping equipment

• Lead the team by example

• Set and Lay tables and serve family and dinner guests.
