Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and hardworking domestic couple for a large private house with grounds in Staffordshire. Employers are a successful mature couple who have immense pride in their estate, and are seeking a skilful couple to upkeep their residence, while applying professional discretion.

Main duties include, but are not limited to:

Housekeeper (part time or full time hours)

Experienced lady to perform normal housekeeping duties, including preparation of lunch and occasional evening and weekend meals. This position could be part time if required and agreed.
A current driving licence would be preferable.

Ground Maintenance / Gardener / Handyman

Experienced gardener required full time to cover all aspects of maintenance of the garden area which is approximately 4 acres. Should hold a full driving licence for occasional chauffeuring duties. Particular emphasis is placed on a caretaker role, giving assistance with property maintenance and arranging repairs.

What we are looking for:

• This role would ideally suit a couple with previous experience of housekeeping / estate maintenance / gardening / driving.
• Full UK drivers licence
• A minimum of one year’s experience in a similar role
• Calm, dedicated individuals that take pride in their work
• Compassion and consideration of employer’s privacy
• Capable of prioritising workload

Remuneration & Benefits:

In return we can offer an excellent salary, on site accommodation with garden (1 bedroom soon to be extended to 2 bedroom property), use of a vehicle for both business and private needs and good holiday entitlements subject to notice.
