| Job Description | We are working with an amazing family of 5 in Oxfordshire to source a highly skilled and experienced full-time live-out Housekeeper for their large country home. Joining an existing team of 3 Housekeepers you will work collaboratively to ensure that very high standards of cleanliness are maintained across the property, and will also be responsible for laundry, ironing, wardrobe management and light cooking. The family has 3 school-aged children, as well as 2 dogs and one cat (so child and pet friendly are essential). You will work 5 days per week (including weekends) - usual working hours from 8:30am to 6:30pm with some flexibility required at times. You must be a confident driver and have excellent checkable references. DUTIES TO INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO: • Daily cleaning including dusting, vacuuming, hoovering, mopping, changing beds, cleaning bathrooms and kitchen • Laundry, ironing and wardrobe management, including caring for fine fabrics • Packing and unpacking for the principals • Polishing silver and glassware • Rubbish and recycling management • Greeting guests and offering refreshments • Light cooking • Weekly grocery shopping • Managing stocks of cleaning products • Flower arranging • Greeting trade people and contractors • Ad-hoc duties as required ESSENTIAL CRITERIA: • Prior housekeeping experience in a high-end private household • A valid driving licence and a confident driver • Fluency in English – spoken and written • Eligibility to work in the UK • Hardworking and dedicated • High attention to detail • Flexibility with hours and duties • Able to work independently with little supervision • Trustworthy and reliable • DBS checked or willingness to undertake one • Excellent checkable references If this sounds of interest and you meet the essential criteria, please do apply within or get in touch to find out more. |
