We are a down to earth and informal family located near Cobham (Mickleham) in Surrey.

Seeking a part-time housekeeper/cook.
The role is live out and you must be able to commute easily to the property.
Package Offered • £15 - £20 p/h, 20-25hrs per week + overtime; circa £20,000 per annum gross.

We are a family of five with two boys (newborn and 4 yrs) and a girl (6 yrs) looking for a part-time housekeeper/cook. We live on a beautiful dairy farm in a very private and idyllic part of Mickleham near Cobham in Surrey.

You should feel confident in taking full responsibility for running the house and ideally be animal friendly for this role as we have a small house dog and other pets outside in the grounds.

Duties:

You should be confident with all aspects of housekeeping and be able to clean and care for the home to a high standard, with great attention to detail.

You will be responsible for the daily and deep cleaning of the household and ensure it is always tidy and presentable. Making beds, cleaning bathrooms, organising and cleaning the kitchen, and generally keeping all areas of the house clean and organised.

You will be responsible for the family’s wardrobe management, ensuring all laundry & ironing is up to date. You should be happy to look after the dog, by walking and feeding him (dry dog food - very easy).

You should be happy to cook for the family. Cooking includes breakfast before school, light lunches and dinner preparation and making a lunch box for children. You should have a keen interest in cooking as the family enjoy home-made meals.

You should be happy to occasionally help with dinner parties - this will be a maximum of two days a month and paid overtime. Equally, the family offers some flex in hours upon prior mutual agreement you can come late or go early.

The family are located near the lovely upmarket town of Mickleham in Surrey. This is a live out role and you should be able to commute easily. Due to the location, you should drive and have your own car.

Days/Hours: Working Monday to Friday; 7am - 12pm (25hr week)
Occasionally working on a Friday or Saturday evening only to help with dinner parties.
Overtime will either be paid or given back as time in lieu.

You must speak a good level of English and be experienced at housekeeping with an excellent eye for detail. You should genuinely enjoy cooking and be happy to cook daily for the family.
