| Job Description | We're looking for a reliable, experienced housekeeper to support a private home belonging to a busy professional. This is a part-time, self-employed role suited to someone who takes pride in their work, works well independently, and enjoys the flexibility of managing their own hours as a contractor. The two working days each week can be agreed flexibly to suit both parties. Duties include: • General housekeeping - dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and periodic deep cleaning across all rooms and floors such as interior windows, fridge and oven cleaning • Laundry and changing beds • Keeping front and back outdoor areas tidy, including watering • Basic upkeep of the outdoor pool (full guidelines provided) • Weekly watering of indoor plants • Taking in deliveries and ensuring their safe receipt • Running occasional errands as needed • Flagging any household maintenance issues as they arise A note on flexibility: Alongside the core 2 days per week, we're looking for someone open to occasional additional hours when needed - for example, being available to take in a delivery outside the usual working hours. This would always be discussed and agreed in advance, with reasonable notice given, and paid at the standard hourly rate. What we're looking for: • Previous housekeeping experience in a private household • Reliable and trustworthy • Comfortable working independently and using initiative – able to spot when things need doing • High attention to detail and pride in maintaining a spotless home • Right to work in the UK • Registered as self-employed • Ideally living within a 10-minute walk of SW2 |
